Welcome to the team Elvira

Hello everyone, I am the new team member Elvira! I thought I'd tell you a bit about myself, my thoughts on marketing and my expectations of my role as a digital and growth marketing intern here at Liini Agency.

My journey into marketing

Creativity has been important to me since I was a little girl, and my youth was spent with arts such as dance and drawing. Three years ago, when I started studying business administration at Haaga-Helia, I found marketing a field where I could put my creativity to practical use.

So far, the best part has been seeing my ideas come to life in practice in the form of marketing materials!

On the other hand, in primary school I became interested in science. After high school, I headed for pharmacy studies, and before I knew it, I was already working as a pharmacist. The best thing about this job has been helping people and the meaningfulness of the work - I can contribute to people's wellbeing through my own actions.

The combination of science and design gives me a strong basis for looking at marketing from different perspectives. I get to balance creativity and analytics, which makes data-driven marketing especially interesting for me!

Beyond the surface

New experiences are what drive me forward! I've always been adventurous and like to try new things - I've been organazing events, run camps and been active in student organisations.

In my spare time, I like to spend time with friends at museums, events and trying new sports. As a special tip, axe throwing - surprisingly fun!

I believe that new experiences broaden our perspectives and help us develop. This curiosity has guided me both at work and in my free time.

From pharmacy to the world of marketing

Working as a pharmacist, I learned the importance of listening to customers and understanding their needs. This skill has also proved invaluable in marketing. In pharmacy, customer service is the first step in determining the need for the medicine, but it's also what sets one pharmacy apart from another in the mind of the customer.

Business, whether it's a pharmacy or a marketing agency, is always based on the customer experience. That's why listening to and understanding the customer is everything.

The customer is at the core of everything

In today's marketing, there is no room for methods that do not genuinely serve the needs of the customer. At worst, they can even undermine the customer experience and damage a company's reputation.

I firmly believe that listening to your customers, understanding their needs and providing a hassle-free solution are the cornerstones of successful marketing.

The customer's buying journey should be designed not only to be smooth, but to exceed expectations and leave a positive impression of the company. This is one area where I hope my internship at Liini Agency will give me new insights and know-how for the future.

The value of analytics

It is important to me that all decisions are based on reliable information. When I first attended the Data Driven Marketing course, I realised that digital marketing and the customer data it generates is the strong foundation on which I want to build marketing solutions.

I believe that by analysing data, we can significantly improve marketing efficiency and make better decisions for our business. This allows us to find out what really works and serves our customers, so we can focus on what really matters.

Looking ahead: what do I expect from my internship?

As a digital marketing intern at Liini Agency, I get to dive deep into the world of data and help a company in its mission to eliminate bad customer experiences from the world.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this internship will impact my thinking and approach - maybe even my pharmacy work will take on new dimensions!

I've really enjoyed my marketing studies, and now I'm looking forward to new  revelations and professional growth here at Liini Agency. I believe this internship will be unique, and I can't wait to see what I learn along the way!
