LovedBags needed a personal shopper service for its lovedbags.fi website to allow customers to book an appointment to see the bag of their choice in a bricks-and-mortar store. After comparing different appointment systems and Googling, Liini Agency was found.
- Liini's team understood our needs from the very first phone call and our views matched very well," says Emma Kirjavainen, Sales and Marketing Director.
- They sensibly advised us that an appointment system alone would be expensive to buy and would make the rest of the site look outdated. We had considered doing an online store redesign later, but with good reasoning, we decided to go for it now.
The collaboration started by identifying and mapping the needs of the target audience. The customer personas for the online store were defined using service design, and the entire online store was designed with their needs in mind. It was important for LovedBags to serve customers who demand luxury and who value clarity and ease of use in online services. The online store had to seamlessly support the brand's premium image.
The design work focused a lot on refining the visual look down to the smallest details. Using reference pages, a colour scheme and moodboards, we set out to create a simple and luxurious atmosphere.
Liini's proposal for the online store's visual identity was so close to what was desired that only minor changes were needed.
Liini's team understood from the start our need for a visually appealing finish, and why this is so important to our brand. They were also very good at challenging our vision and suggesting improvements," says Kirjavainen.
Since the launch, the redesigned webshop has received good feedback not only for its look and feel, but also for its ease of use and clarity, which is important to customers.
After a successful redesign project, the cooperation will continue in the form of a growth service. Work is underway to strengthen the brand through search engine optimisation and to improve visit times and click-through rates.
The desired results are also starting to be seen, although search engine optimization is always a long-term process.
