We implemented an online store for Zazabella based on the Shopify platform, integrating the stores' Shopify POS solutions to improve inventory management and customer experience. At the same time, we modernised the look and feel of the site and made it easier to maintain.

What was the need?

Synergies and efficiency from combining platforms and POS-solution

Zazabella is Finland's largest company specialising in wedding and party dresses, with six brick-and-mortar stores and its own online shop. With the expansion, Zazabella had accumulated several websites to maintain and the online shop did not see the balances of all the stores. This not only made inventory management and product rotation more difficult, but also made the customer experience worse. 
 
Liini helped Zazabella modernise its online store into a single Shopify platform, which also integrated the checkout system for the brick-and-mortar stores. At the same time, the website's look and feel was modernised and site maintenance was made easier.

Our solution

Flexibility and human-centered design

Zazabella set out to revamp its e-commerce and core systems after the previous system was found to be too cumbersome to use. They wanted to merge the separate websites of the different stores and bring all stock balances into one place, so that products in stock at any store could also be sold online. 
 
Liini was chosen to carry out the project because of a previous project that had gone well.
 
"We certainly could have chosen someone else to partner with, but we chose Liini because of the people: Ilari and Sampo have always been very nice and flexible, and they have a professional, human and friendly approach to the work," says Ruibin Zheng, CEO of Zazabella.
 
Zheng stresses that it was important for them to choose a partner with both the technical expertise and the visual eye to implement a solution that would suit Zazabella. The project, which combined e-commerce and brick-and-mortar sales systems, was large and its success was very important to the company.
How did the project go?

Successful production export

Bringing the final solution to production went well and the end result met Zazabella's needs and expectations. Along the way, minor technical challenges were encountered, which were resolved flexibly as they arose. 
 
"We have a lot of features and technical details with which we made some mistakes. But in a project of this scale, these are almost part of the normal process, and Liini has been very quick and flexible to fix them," says Zheng.
 
The next step is to continue working together on marketing, including SEO and SEM, to ensure that the revamped site can be found by search engines.
The cooperation with Liini was really good - even during the holidays the project was going well, and the teamwork on Liini's side was really smooth. If someone asks me if I would recommend Liini as a partner, I would.
