By placing customer needs at the forefront, we designed a seamless personal shopper experience that enhances luxury shopping. Our tailored approach ensured clarity and usability, reflecting the brand’s premium image while effectively connecting with its target audience.

The challenge our customer faced

The customer's needs at the center of the design process

LovedBags needed a personal shopper service for their website, lovedbags.fi, to allow customers to book an appointment to explore their desired bags in-store. After comparing various booking systems and researching online, they discovered Liini.

“The Liini team understood our needs right from the first phone call, and our visions aligned well,” says Emma Kirjavainen, Sales and Marketing Director.

“They wisely suggested that simply having a booking system would be an expensive investment and would make the rest of the site look outdated. We had initially considered updating the online store later, but with their compelling arguments, we decided to proceed now.”

The collaboration began with identifying and mapping the target audience's needs. Customer personas for the online store were defined through service design, and the entire e-commerce platform was planned around their needs. It was essential for LovedBags to cater to customers who demand luxury and value clarity and usability in online services. The online store needed to seamlessly support the brand's premium image.

The design work focused heavily on refining the visual identity down to the finest details. Using reference websites, color schemes, and mood boards, we aimed to achieve a simple yet luxurious atmosphere.

Liini’s proposal for the overall visual concept of the online store was already so close to what we envisioned that only minor adjustments were needed in the end.

How we went forward from there

The collaboration continues as a growth service

The revamped website has received positive feedback since its launch, not only for its design but also for its user-friendliness and clarity, which are important to customers.  

Following the successful redesign project, our collaboration continues with growth services. Ongoing work includes strengthening the brand through search engine optimization and improving site visit durations and click-through rates.  

Desired results are already starting to show, even though optimization is always a long-term effort.

Everything went really well from the start. We were pleasantly surprised by the speed of the service: if I thought of any improvements and communicated them, the changes were live on the site as soon as the next day. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our new online store.
